If Bangladesh would’ve beaten Afghanistan and Australia advancing to face South Africa in the semis, then the result would be the same as of what happened in the 2023 ODI World Cup finals, be it England or India. No team has ever beaten Australia twice in a tournament but Australia did beat India twice to win the World Cup in 2003. Remember? Australia has won the ODI World Cup for 6 times, 3 times in a row(hat trick). Let’s see any other team replicate even half of that at first.
